zetti moon faces (by hahawtf)
Oh hay thar, Tumblr! I have slacked in my updating here, but not in my art making. I am offering you peek at my first Zetti-style ATC’s, made for a swap.
I don’t know what took me so long to give this style a go. It’s right up my alley: all bright colors and doodles and randomness. I really like the way these two turned out and have got some more percolating on my art table as I type this.
Yeah, so I ended my self-imposed Swap-bot exile and am happier now to be back. I’ve set myself a few “rules” to follow so I don’t burn out again. I’ll give you a hint what one of them is: it starts with “Fuck” and ends with “the haters.”
Mail Art to Switzerland-
Another one of my old prints I thought I’d place on envelope. I like the angry green ink circling the post code with an arrow pointing to the circle.

For $5 USD, you can commemorate the first message sent over ARPANET (the pre-Internet internet, for the unsure). Trail riders and packhorses will travel from Menlo Park to downtown San Jose, California, beginning on Sept. 12 and ending on Sept. 15, distributing the mail at the ZERO1 Biennial, which celebrates the intersection of art and technology.

Scott Catalogue# 1190
Issued on Dec 28, 1961
The stamp features a student nurse lighting a candle, symbolic of passing the flame from Florence Nightingale. December 28th, 2011 marked the 50th anniversary of the United States Postal Service’s (USPS) issuing this iconic nursing stamp. Did you know that 100,000 were first printed —but demand swelled to a printing of 100 million.
